Welcome ...
This blog has been created to allow family and friends to share in and become part of the experience of 'Down at the Farm'.
Enjoy the children, their love for each other and their open hearted wonder and excitement.
Over time you will get to know the farm through their eyes and will see how they spend their day with each other in a very rich, organic way.
Each vignette is a snapshot in time. Follow from one to another, then on to more and you can share in our unfoldment and journey.
Enjoy your visit ...

Rain .. rain

For any folk who've been part of our adventure for a while, you will no doubt have heard of .. 'The Rolling Hill' ..

It's a gentle slope off one side of the stables paddock, that dips down to the rivers edge.

It's green and soft and has a fence at the bottom end .. so we are safe and we've played there for hours .. watching ducks swim and carp jump and seeing the river in it's many moods roll by.

The most fun thing of all is that it is the best ever hill for rolling down .. you know the drill, lie on your side at the top of a gentle slope and tip until you roll and start to tumble all the way to the bottom.

Heaps of fun!

Well last weekend when the rain came down, Rebekkah happened to be there with her camera and while we didn't get to see it for ourselves, have a look at the rolling hill during the rain ..

.. WOW .. like we've never seen it while playing together, that's for sure.
